Have you tried using this blast medium on rust? What were the results? Tractor supply sells this cheap.

There’s a couple of grits available. Go with the finer grit. The coarser stuff tends to clog new nozzles in my cabinet, although I acknowledge that some of the problem may be rust pieces that migrate to the suction hose.

Never had the issue with the finer grit though.

Works great for heavy rust on thicker metal, to aggressive for body panels. Nice to reuse as well compared to sand.

What blast media do you recommend for floor panels?

Agree. Works great but you have to stick to the finer grit unless you have massive compressor capable of 30cfm+. I tried the medium grit and it would clog constantly. Needed a larger orifice nozzle but the next size up needed 30cfm

I got the course grade. So this might not work. If it doesn't work in the air gun I'll use the course in a tumbler.

Works good on rust. used it in my HF pressure pot thing. The HF blaster needs some mods to stop clogging, however.
