The Lowe's & HD threads have helped me out so why not one for TSC

I found this recip saw for $39.99 from $79.99 (still $80 @ Lowe's). That's better than anything comparable @ HF so I'll give it a shot

Also, all their winches were clearanced but I didn't have time to check them out

I have two of the PC 4 1/2" angle grinders that I like a lot. One is about 4 years old and the other is a few months. If the saw is made like the grinders, it is well worth the money. I think I'll check out my local TSC on that one.

Those are on clearance for $9.99 here. The metric set normally shows at $14.99 and the SAE is $19.99, so $24 isn't a good deal at all.

i will have to go and see if they are marked down this evening!
reg price 54.99 clearance for 24.99 is what is on the tags in my local store.

Has anyone used one of these yet? The reviews I have found online seem to be good. The price looks to be about as low as I can find for a saw like this.

Here is a video that shows the features and demonstrates the saw cutting a landscape timber that has a stick of rebar inside it. It doesn't look bad.

Bought one of the PC tigersaws today. It looks like a good saw for the price.

Also, TS had this Crescent nail puller for $6.99 that usually sells for about $15. I didn't need one, but it would make pulling lots of nails real easy.

The wingman IS MADE iN USA
YOU sir are wrong

Oh sorry, "Finished in the USA". Of global components. Not that there's anything wrong with that at the price point it is. It seems higher quality than anything else you'd get for $20.

Thanks for the tip on the PC Tigersaw. Spent a few hours making a ton of calls, finally found one way, way out of state that my brother is picking up for me. Tough to locate, but worth the hunt. Thanks !!

I used mine today for the first time and I like it. I think the clearance price is a great deal for this saw. I'm tempted to go back and see if they have another one left.

I've got an older model of that saw and it works great. I bought it several years ago used and have abused it but it still runs like a champ.

Maybe this new model will be just as good.

If your older one looks similar to this one, than no, they are not anywhere near in the same league.

The local ad here lists a 50ft. Flexzilla air hose for $19.99. I went to get some the day I received the ad and they are gone everywhere. There is no way they sold out that quick.

They did have the 35ft. version on sale for the same price. There were at least 20 of those. My trip was wasted.

Sold out here too. They apparently do not put many in the store during the "Memorial Day Sale."

Looks like you got a good deal

But just a FYI on the HF saw as Ive had the red reciprocating HF freight saw a couple of years and that thing is a beast. I see the coupons for them all the time for around 20 bucks if you are ever in the market for another ;-)

Just FYI, the Wingman isn't US made, and it's only $20 normally. I think I paid $10 for it at Lowes or HD around Christmas the other year when it was introduced.

That said, mine sits under the seat of my motorcycle "just in case", works just fine for that, and looks damn decent for under $20.

You're wrong, the wingman is certainly US made. Normally $30 unless on sale. Regardless, $15 is 25% off $20...

My store has a section in the middle of the store for clearance of what I believe is left over from the holidays. They have a couple of the recip saws mentioned in this thread. Also several PC 4.5" grinders (in a boxed kit w several grinding wheels) for $34.99 ea. I almost bought one but am kinda a grinder snob & these look cheap; they claim 7A tho.

Also one of the all-aluminum 1.5T "racing" jacks for $59.99. This is the best you'll do at HF w coupon for what I think is the identical jack. TSC's brand is Traveller

Also some hokey LED light which is supposed to plug into the rear of your trailer connector on a truck for $9.99 IIRC, might have been $14.99.

6ga jumper cables for $34.99 which struck me as high; I don't remember the length.

Those PC grinders don't ****. They'll never be the best you own but I like the rat tail handle.

Agree. I have two of them that I use almost every day and they do have plenty of power. I have used one of them for about three years. The newer one is about a two months old and it may not last, but who knows.

I like the rat tail handle too. It makes it easier to control when you use both hands, but the body of the grinder is still small enough to hold it in one hand if you need to.

I'm sure the more expensive grinders are better, but for the price I think it is well worth it.

Well I picked up the last PC grinder tonight for $29.99. Even tho I've already got 6 in the shop in regular use and a Milwaukee that just needs a switch I can never have too many

Rang up $49.99 less my 10% coupon was $45 +tax. You won't do that good at HF.

Picked up two of the angle grinders about a month ago and I have been using them a good bit since then and have been greatly impressed...add into that the reduced price and it's a killer deal.

Those two Porter Cable grinders bring my grinder count up to 4...1 Black & Decker, 1 Makita, and now the 2 Porter Cables.

I'll usually keep a cut-off wheel on one grinder, a wire brush on another, a grinding wheel on the third, and a flap disc on the last one.
