Well considering the 4 major new build tractor name brands are red (Case IH, Massey Ferguson) Blue (New Holland) or Green (well duh) that may bring you closer to "getting" it.

Nope, each fitting type has it's own color when I glanced at them. Blue goes to blue, red to red, green to green. Industrial vs auto vs ARO. I don't recall which color was which.

Well that makes no sense

What part? There has been multiple fitting types around for decades. This was just their attempt to color code it vs having to fumble around for a different fitting. Though most people just standardize every tool in their shop anyway.

Not sure what the color coded air fitting fuss is all about, but blue=automotive, red=industrial and green=ARO... as far as the colored blow guns,:dunno:

I stopped at one of the TSC's today. I didn't spot much...but I did get the 48" straight edge for $1.

The straight edge is packaged in a clear vacuum-sealed plastic. Well, it was ripped in a few places, and I guess the cashier thought it was actually clearcoat when I put it on the counter. So she gave me a bigger discount. I never had to say a word...

Do you have a part # for that?

Any one have one of tractor supply's old house brand winches? My TSC has some left and I'd like to mount one in the bed of my service body. Have any opinions on em?

Stopped by my local TSC yesterday, they had a 48" metal brake for $150, normally $300. If I had my own shop currently I would have picked it up. Sorry so SKU or picture, store was Aberdeen, MD.

Alot of their winches are on clearance pretty good. Picked up a 3k ATV winch for my trailer for $30, missing the hook. There were 3 more in store for $50. A champion 8k was going for $200

Found a battery carrier in the clearance section next to the rattle can paint for .99. I personally like these things and since my current one is getting eaten by battery corrosion I was grabbing this one as a back-up when I saw a bunch of battery cables there, too. Some were priced at .99, others were on hooks priced at .99 with a description of the cable, and a lot of them there were just laying there. I took them all up to the register and a few still came up $5.99 or $7.99 but I got 6 different cables for .99 each.

I can't seem to get the Item #'s on my receipt to come up on a search at tractorsupply.com, but here's a run-down, FWIW:

Item 474445, 49" switch to starter (this just means two ring terminals) red, .99 was $11.99

Item 474021, 25" post terminal battery cable red, .99 was $10.99

Item 474217, 20" post terminal battery cable black, .99 was $16.99

Item 474704 9" post terminal ground strap, .99 was $11.99

Item 474429 24" switch to starter red, .99 was (doesn't say)

Item 474136 32" post terminal battery cable red, .99 was $14.99

Items other than cables:

Item 4760157 Sure Grip Battery Carrier .99, was $13.99

Item 475116 12" J-bolt battery hold-downs, supposed to ring up at priced $3.99, came up $4.49 so the clerk took off two dollars making my cost $2.49

Everything in the pic cost me $10.16 after tax

It's a close out. I went in for the 36" brake shown a few posts up but they were sold out.

I believe that Pepi's point is that the bender is marked down from 69 bucks, not the originally stated mark down, which made it seem like an epic deal.

Harbor freight has similar bender on sale for 89.99. With a 20% off that puts it about 72.00. So 49.99 isn't bad but only about 20.00 bucks cheaper than going rate. Not a smoking deal but decent if you are needing one right now.

HF regularly sells the floor bender for $99+ (regular price). There's no way TSC's starting price on this was $69.99 but $129.99 would be just right as they're always higher than HF on identical chi-com tools.

Furthermore even if it was "just" $22 cheaper than HF with a coupon that's still a LARGE savings on a $70-ish item.

None of this is available at the local TSC that opened up in Puyallup, WA. Their tool selection is very small and have no metal working equipment at all. I left disappointed.

Also, I found a 3/8" air ratchet in the clearance section for $2.99, marked down from $14.99. It's identical to my cheap $15 HF air ratchet. For $2.99 it was worth having a backup. I can't find it online, but it was on a clearance rack in the back of the store. look around.

Got the last Bender at my local store for $29.99. Also Jumped on the last 36" brake that was down to $119. The similar one at HF is currently $234.
