Avatar was a crop from haunted house photos posted on cbsnews a few years ago. I have no idea who they are but their expressions cracked me up. They look more shocked than scared.
There is a review of the brake on youtube. I don't think you can buy the metal as cheap as 119. If you can get one I advise it.

Does anyone know what the thickness capacity of the metal brake is? It doesn't say on their website
I'd assume the same as the HF brake. They appear to be identical.

I bought the harbor freight unit and gave it a try. I think it will bend thinner material ok, but I couldn't bend 16 gauge at 2.5 ft and get a consistent bend from end to end. I ended up taking it back. I decided a box and pan would be more useful even though the cost is significantly higher.YMMV.

Unless they had another one in the back, I bought the last one at my local store, 44820.
I figured for $120, if I didn't like it, I'll pawn it off at a swap meet and get most of my money back.

I got a brake just like that from Atwoods a few years ago. It works very well for thinner materials like 20ga. It will bend 16ga but only in short lengths, you will not get a full width bend of 16ga with this thing. I have had luck with about 12" of 16ga but that's close to max. If you are doing thinner stuff then you will get a lot of use out of it.

For anyone in the Norfolk area, the Suffolk, VA store has one parts bender in stock. I just picked one up last week and it's a great tool for $30.
I just picked up 2 gallons of Simple Green at TSC. Each gallon came with the premixed squirt bottle clearanced priced at $4.99, which is less than half price.

No - as stated Simple Green is too caustic for toddlers. You need a pressure washer. That alone will not provide adequate cleaning though. Remember the old adage - wire brushes for boys and plastic brushes for girls.
Now we haven't but I'll be sure to try to keep that in mind !

No pressure washer but I'm sure 100 psi out of the deck gun would work just fine. The only problem I see is that they might get washed down the street.

Ok guys, maybe the simple green was a bad idea for THE BOY. But what do you think about preventative coatings? Should I coat 'im in a layer of beeswax? WD-40? Or go with the old standby, Linseed Oil for a high quality buildup?
As far as pressure washing, my kid can take it. He is a monster, not quite 3, can easily lift 20 pounds, is 38 inches tall, destroys everything readily with his plastic hammer, and can figure out how any mechanical device works in 5 minutes or less! Oh and you'll like this nuttsgt, he loves playing as a FIREMAN now - his favorite thing other than trains. Dressed as a fireman for Halloween! He thinks Firemen are HEROES in SOCIETY and SO DO I !!!- Paul, reasonably new to this parenting thing at a late date in life but willing to try new proactive ideas with THE BOY

Not sure if this has been covered yet or not but just got back from my local TSC and they have Stanley 1k lb saw horses on blow out for $22.99 pair, these are'nt the fat max ones but this price is waaay cheaper than any other online by far, they also have a ton of dewalt stuff and holiday promo stuff too on clearance too.

As I'm on the search for a new, favorite, basic-yet-accurate tape I got this Lufkin 2 pack for $7.99 (only down from $9.99). The single orange hi-viz (L625) on Amazon is $6.97, so double the product for $1 more ain't terrible. I feel these cases are unnecessarily tall but I'll give it a shot.
edit: all the info online indicates the L625 should have a yellow blade in 16th's but these are white in 32nds. I don't much care about the blade color but hate 32nds. They're going back.

Usually if they are on their normal mailer card, like when the 10% off comes they are not user specific as I have let the person in front of me and behind me use my card as well as myself. Cashier was perfectly OK with it as long as they said that they forgot theirs at home.
If you post a picture of it on here and bring it to the store on your phone as a picture I am sure that they would take it, at least at the store I go to they would.

I got it from going in the store and when they ask for your information give it to them. Within a week or so from then I got my first one. Now that I have moved I am not sure if it is going to move with me without me stopping in and changing my address with them.

My nearest (Union, MO) TSC has Milwaukee Tools on clearance. Not sure if it is for new models or if they are not going to carry them any longer? I've been looking for a portaband to replace my HF cheapo that died. I picked up the deep cut for $200 that is usually over $300. Their decent 4.5" paddle grinder was marked to $69, 1/2 impact for $99, etc. Roughly 30% off overall. I was happy with the $1 thinsulate hats I got a couple wks ago
