I went to another Tractor Supply after dinner tonight, literally half the store was on clearance, I couldn’t even begin to list everything. I got a pair of the fake Robo Grip pliers for $2.99

4 pistol Plano gun case $9.99. All their Jobsmart brand worklights and garage lighting 50% off. TSC branded knit caps $3.19 (not clearance). Picked up a Lenox brand multi bit nut driver for 8 something. Looked like most toys were half off, including Bruder toy trucks.628e545f4f97bd61a6f5f0986a7e48c9.jpg3415ffdc7ebe3f0e3f5bbba1f1812ff7.jpg

only thing that I’ve noticed I think got another markdown was 3 piece 90 tooth ratchets went down in think they were $14.99. They look the same as a set that came with a Kobalt tool set I got. I don’t care for them so I skipped them.

I just bought this set the other day for 8.47. Not the best ratchets but for all 3 for 8.47 I couldn't pass on it.

Are tractor supply JobSmart the same as Milwaukee aka Gleason Industrial Products hand carts? They look very similar for Tractor has them for a lot less.

For example:

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/jobsmart-boss-hoss-hand-truck-1000-lb-capacity

vs

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-1000-lb-Capacity-P-Handle-Truck-DC49977/207155052

I can't take about these, but the picture look very similar to my Harbor Freifht hand cart.

Couldnt pass that up! Got 4 5qt jugs of 5w-30. Cant beat that for $38 after rebate.

Anyone noticed that its getting hard to find 10w-30 SYN? Tractor supply doesn't have it in the GAS oil nor does walmart in Valvoline SYN.

I guess if you buy 4 5qt jugs you have to submit the form 4 times... Be nice if they would just have a drop down for the quantity you purchased...

Their rebate form leaves a lot to be desired, but you can submit all receipts together. In just November their rebate processing was great, usually 2 weeks and no mistakes with multiple receipts. Now, many complaints of mistakes, denials and taking too long.

They got hit hard in late '19 with AZ clearance; most of us were actually making a few bucks after in-store coupons. I think they've started scrutinizing rebates more closely (many guys were using multiple addresses and $40 checks had to be flying out the door) and also using the ol' trick of random denials to make it harder, hoping some people just never follow up. No proof, just my suspicion.

I'm honestly surprised they renewed the rebate for '20. Anyway, I'd still go for it but save everything and be ready to call and fight if you get a denial.

I figured there was several of you boboilguys on here. Saw someone posted the tractor supply deal on the rebate thread soon as I posted above.

You need to submit the receipts all together. Dont buy no single quarts or you may not get your full amount depending how they feel that day.

(many guys were using multiple addresses and $40 checks had to be flying out the door)

I did buy all four jugs together and just submitted the same receipt 4 times.. We'll see... If they deny it within 30 days Ill just return them.

What happens if you get the rebate then return them?

Based upon 2019 rebate, you did it wrong. Best case, it won't matter -- they'll approve one for the proper $40 and deny three. Worst case, they'll see "duplicate" submissions and deny them all as such.

I just filed mine for four 5qt jugs on one receipt. Only filed once. This is how 2019 went, and it worked (for everyone on BITOG).

So, we'll see.............if I only get a $10 check then I'm the one who did it wrong for 2020. But the form/webpage is basically the same today as it was for the '19 rebate.

You can always call and straighten them out -- many guys have had to, and it seems to get results.

Oh, and I used my 10% coupon so it was $16.20 per jug........so if the rebate goes thru that's $6.20 per 5qts of quality full syn. Better than a poke in the eye.

This hex and torx set at $15 ain't bad. I was even more pleased once I opened it -- that's a good amount of bits at ~$15. I know it's cheap Chinese steel but oftentimes I want sacrificial bits in the "going for broke" or "hold my beer & watch this" moments. Ya know, the times when it's either going to work beautifully or explode catastrophically....(or welding/modifying one, 'cause I won't be custom fabbing on Snappy bits)

Local store had a lot of tools on clearance when I stopped by yesterday.

I grabbed the last three 5 qt jugs of 5-20 Rotella. They rang up $18 each, so $8 each after the rebate.

Went by yesterday and a lot of Carhartt and other work wear was discounted. Picked up a mock neck vest usually 69.99 for 39.99.

So how did you fill it out? Buy it 4 different times?

I went and bought 4 more 5qt jugs yesterday and wouldnt you know it, I got an email today with a $20 off $100 coupon in it... May try to return them all then use the coupon... Ill end up making money on that deal.

Ill fill out the other rebate under a different name/address... Would be nice to know what the proper way to do it is.

Same in the store in Hollywood, MD, but the discounts did not seem that deep. I held my fire and will go back next week.

One store I stopped at had an additional 20% off clearance but the store that is less shopped with far more clearance did not have the 20% off.

Just check the box that you got a 5qt jug & upload your receipt with any quantity on it. That's it. That's how '19 was

TSC has apparently vanished from the list on the Rotella rebate site, so it's a moot point.

If anybody purchased RGT expecting to file and hasn't gotten around to it yet, I'd encourage you to return the oil to TSC. Shell should not be rewarded with sales by saying "Hey rebate -- nah just kidding!"

Still shows up for me... Going to scan my second receipt and fill it out tomorrow...

Just called Tractor Supply. They said I can bring all 8 jugs back, return them, then buy them again using the $20 off coupon that I got the day after I bought them... So Ill end up paying $52 for 40 quarts of syn oil... $1.30 a quart.

Thats the link I used. I filled out another rebate today (different address) and I submitted it 4 times again. It doesnt make sense to me to click '1 5qt jug' and assume they will see that I bought 4 jugs. It says 'up to 4 rebates per address.' We'll see.

Took all 8 jugs back to tractor supply today and showed them my coupon, she handed me $21.06 cash.

I've got another $10 off $50 coupon, may go buy 4 more and fill out yet another rebate... Getting things on sale is addicting to me. :shocking:

just fyi, but... every time i've done the shell rebates, they've caught the multiple items per receipt in a single submission.

I think TSC going missing was because they had them listed twice before: "TSC" and "Tractor Supply". <shrug>

If you're a member of their neighbor's club check your email as they just sent out a 15% of your entire purchase coupon and 25% off all clearance items, both are in-store only.

Just bought a few jugs of Mobil 1 Truck & SUV 0w-20 on clearance for $14.99. Probably not the best deal ever, but cheaper than retail at Walmart.

They had 5w-? on the shelf also, same Truck and SUV flavor.

Same here, picked up 3 jugs of 5w30 Mobil 1 truck/Suv for my pickup. After the 25% discount it works out to $2.25/quart which is a deal to me, especially because I know I'll use it.

I got a pair of the Dewalt Bluetooth hearing protectors for $24.74

Lots of grinding wheels and wire wheels on clearance also,

And at 15% they had the best price on blue buffalo food for our dog (usually Menards is cheapest).

The Mobil 1 was like $11.25 a jug with the 25% off, you maybe could get $10 after a rebate for another brand synthetic but to save $1.25 (actually less after the stamps to mail in the rebate) it simply wasn’t worth it, I bought like 15 jugs in various weights then again I have 7 cars 3 tractors and a bunch of yard equipment I prefer to run synthetic in.

I may go back tomorrow and get some of the conventional and semi synth but I was there right before closing and didn’t want to irritate the employees.

They had tons of tools left but nothing I desperately needed. Some of the mechanics sets might be good if you need sets for the junkyard or truck box or trunk. They had a few of those jobsmart 12 impact wrenches which come with flip sockets for $15 which really isn’t bad. Some of the stuff like the smaller dewalt socket sets or crescent sets were really cheap like $10-15. Lots of gimmicky stuff like fake robogrips, ratchet combined with prybars and such. Many small throwaway grade wrench sets for like $2, good if you need to cut, bend or modify them for some purpose. They still had a few of the Taiwanese damaged nut socket sets which would now be $3.49 and they started at like $15. Lots of various reciprocating saw blades.

Mini work lights for $2.61 after the 25% these are really bright and come with batteries, lay nice and flat would be good for the trunk.

Flex shaft ratcheting mini screwdriver set for the same.

The Olympia 32 piece bit set has possibly the smallest bit ratchet I’ve ever seen.

The 3/8 and 1/2 star bit set for $3.12 after the 25% is a pretty solid deal the sockets are 10mm (nice thought) and the shafts are long so these would be decent for a recessed fastener.
