I read recently that Mobil 1 has stopped selling the great synthetic oil that they had for years. They now use petroleum oil in all of their various types and grades of oil. I guess synthetic oil is just a marketing term now days with Mobile 1. What a bummer.

Was in our local store on Sunday--they have their Redstone branded fireplace and wood handling accessories marked down--including their 8' log rack--from ~$79 to ~$39.

Sign did say "Manager's Clearance' so not sure if it is general.

Went to autozone and got the last 5 jugs of RGT for $10 ea and then went to tractor supply and had them price match for $10 a jug. Nothing like getting oil for just the taxes ($0.60 per jug)

Found alot of grinding stuff on clearance. It's still in it's usual spot and not with the rest of clearance. Grinding/cutting discs and wire wheels were 50% off. Large cutting blades for a concrete saw or K12 saw were 75% off.

AZ clearances it back in the fall. There’s some left but there’s no rebate if used at autozone. There’s a $10 per jug rebate through shell that works at TSC.

With TSC credit card, 5% back, and $10 rebate per jug. They are free.

Picked up a bunch of those wire wheels today. Also grabbed a Porter Cable chop saw for $59.99 and some 14" cut wheels to go with it for $1.99 each.

Thats the link I used. I filled out another rebate today (different address) and I submitted it 4 times again. It doesnt make sense to me to click '1 5qt jug' and assume they will see that I bought 4 jugs. It says 'up to 4 rebates per address.' We'll see.

Took all 8 jugs back to tractor supply today and showed them my coupon, she handed me $21.06 cash.

I've got another $10 off $50 coupon, may go buy 4 more and fill out yet another rebate... Getting things on sale is addicting to me.

USPS informed delivery shows a rotella rebate coming to my mailbox soon so we'll see what came of me submitting it 4 times. Probably the quickest rebate I've ever gotten assuming that its correct.

Edit: Its for $40! Guess it works either way. Ive got another $40 coming to my parents address and I've got to fill out another one but Im being lazy...

Some good deals on toys for the kiddos, especially Bruder stuff. Only tool I really bought was the sawzall blade sets for 75% off, which is good cause I'm pretty much out. They were with the rest of the blades, not in clearance.

Rotella rebate my ***!. I picked up 15 gallons of diesel T4 on a black friday sale at Rural King and they denied my rebate request because they say the store address isnt on the receipt. Its right up at the top, I have it scanned on my computer and had uploaded it on their website. Normally i never had a issue with a shell rebate. The whole deal was messed up because at the store the rebate forms where expired and one had to go online for the then current promotion.yeah i turned in three differant ones for 60.00 but had seen a dime. Might try delo now.

Horse stall mats 4’x6’ were on sale for $40, usually they’re $45. Not a huge saving but better than nothing. Grab a few of them for my garage gym.
I bought the mats through Activejunkie and saved another 2%.

I might take a trip back to rummage through the clearance section though.

This brand in particular? My truck runs 5w20 and doesn't use any between 7000 miles oil changes (Manufacturer recommends 10K mile changes)

$12 per L 10W60 can disappear from a BMW S65 motor (2008-13 M3) at 1L per 1000 miles. Maybe oil usage is a result of how the engine is built, the rpm and temperature it is asked to operate in.

Oil evaporates. Typical oil specs have a measurement for this called NOACK. It actually is true that cheaper oils do tend to evaporate, which can actually contaminate your crankcase ventilation system more than a good oil.

Project Farm does some evaporation testing in his oil comparison videos, though he doesn't do the standard NOACK test. Perhaps there are videos of that test being done in a lab. Not sure, haven't looked.

I got the seat in yellow, SKU 129757299, same clearance price. For some reason my store in NC showed the regular price until they rang up at the register. It probably would have been sold out otherwise.

No China seat either, These are made in Italy !
