Yes it seems like a good deal to me. I drove a ways to get it.

I am wondering what kind of experiance y'all might have with the 60v flexvolt batteries being used in any of the 20v max or 20v Max XR tools. I ask because I have seen a review that claims the 60v flexvolt batteries can fry 20v max tools.

I've heard that too, but seems ridiculous if the battery was made for the purpose of working on 60v or 20v tools. I would hope Dewalt would cover the tool if genuine battery fried it.

Was a foreman for a commercial glass company for the last few years and 80% of our guys would use mostly flexvolt batteries. I mean we always had a rotation of tools getting fixed but i think it was just from the rigors of commercial construction......never really noticed it being anything to do with batteries.

I just bought the 60 gal Dewalt this evening. I came on here to see if anyone had posted the deal yet. Crabman had it covered already.
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/dewalt-60-gallon-air-compressor-155-psi-dxcm601

I really just needed a new tank, but at this price (cheaper than I found anywhere for the same specs) I'll also get a motor and pump for just a little bit more.

Someone was right behind me buying the smaller portable one. He left the parking lot with the compressor on its side... Hopefully there is not oil all over the back of his truck when he gets home.

If I did not already have a 60 gallon husky I got about 6 years ago I’d be all over the dewalt 60 gallon. I suspect the Dewalt is as good if not better build quality than my Husky compressor. It sure does look better “ more appealing to my eyes “

Going by the looks and specks I would not be surprised if they are almost identical with the exception of color, name and belt guard.

I suspect you are right. From what I have seen over the last month or two of compressor shopping, at the very least several brands use the same pump.

I have a fleet of pipe wrenches....I'm not a plumber but I'm always using them for stupid stuff.... usually to bend, tweak, fold, spindle or mutilate something....but whenever I use 'em as levers/pry bars it seems 60% of the time I wish they were 90 degrees from how they are...

so when I saw this it was one of those "I can't believe somebody actually made one". It's spec'd at 18" and I wish it were at least 24" if not 36" (again, I'm always bending something it seems) but hey, I'll take it.

Clearance priced at $11.99 - I have no idea what original retail was

These little LED shop lights were $12.99 thru the 28th for "5 days of BF", down from $17.99

I like to just have a spare kicking around 'cause I'll eventually get annoyed with a dark corner of the shop or my basement and decide to do something about it

I've used a small, direct-drive, <2HP compressor to run a small sandblasting box. It worked, but I would have to stop periodically to let the compressor catch up. It's OK for occasional use.

This is a series pump on the Dewalt so it's not going to flow as much air steady-state as a parallel pump with the same HP motor; the former is lower flow at higher pressure, the latter is higher flow at lower pressure. Which is better depends on what you are using it for.

In my case I am going to have a second, larger, 5HP parallel flow motor-pump assembly feeding this tank so I can more or less have the best of both worlds.

So my buddy at the motorcycle shop had one of these Torch Sticks today and said he got it at a TSC a couple of weeks back and paid $10 for one ( actually he bought two he said just in case one breaks lol!)

Anyhow I thought they worked great and stopped in TSC on my drive home only to find they were on CLEARANCE and marked down to $6.99 each...so I also bought two lol! Can also find them on Amazon.

Edit" forgot to mention they also promote a built in bottle opener...kind if weird thing to have on a solder torch. But it works good! :D

I have the same ones from Menards, think they were 3.99 or maybe free after rebate. They are fantastic to use, however also cheap as hell. I had one blow up from leaking out the seam between the two body pieces, and several others leak empty just from sitting. Be careful!

My BF jack was delivered late last week. Great price and will make future mowing deck/blade maintence so much easier.

Lowe's had them on clearance last January for $1.99 each. I bought a ton of them to keep in tool boxes, camping gear, backpack, bug out bag, etc.

Aren't the arbor washers 7/8 that you sandwich the disk between?

I don't know. I'll have to look into this a little more.

Edit: I just went and measured the opening in the disks and sure enough they are all 7/8". I have no idea why they call it 5/8" on some. I've been missing out on good deals for these for a while now because every time I see they are for 7/8" I was thinking they did not work for my 4.5” - 5" grinders. Duh thanks for typing some sense into me.

Edit #2: I'm not seeing the add price online. Must be in store only ???

Order online for pickup. If it is not showing then they are not marked down in your area.

TSC is doing there typical after Christmas sale. All outerwear is marked down 20%. Picked up some new Carhartt insulated coveralls (Since I got fat) for 80 bucks which is a good deal to me.

First time visiting a Tractor Supply. Snagged this for $27 which I thought was pretty good. Super jumbo metric set to compliment my jumbo set up to 27mm. Last on the rack.

They also had 3/4 ratchets for $20.

Did anyone else snag one of the $49.99 tool carts? They actually yanked them off the website after less than a day and many store managers manually overrided and canceled paid for orders but I managed to grab a couple.
