If anyone can find Shell Rotella 10W30 diesel grade in gallon jugs @ your local TSC. Snap them up quickly. The competition is charging double right now. I know this from first hand experience. It's like looking for bigfoot.

I've been reading for months that people are having trouble finding Rotella, but now I'm hearing Delo and even the Costco Kirkland Diesel oil is in short supply.

Last time I was in TSC (a month ago) they had one gallon of Delo 15w40.
Costco in Frederick MD had a whole pallet of Kirkland 15w40 last week.
5w40 diesel oil has been harder to come by.
Haven't seen Rotella T6 anywhere. It's as if all the oil and chemicals on the face of the earth have disappeared and SOPUS is incapable of producing more. I bought the last two jugs from my local PepBoys about 2 months ago. It's been 3-4 months since I've seen any at Walmart. For gassers I am still seeing jugs of 0w40 and 5w40 at various stores that meet API SN and/or Euro/Porsche/Audi specs. My daily is a turbo Subie and I like the Brotella because it's cheap and good, but until Shell gets its act together some other brand will get my money.

Might be targeted but I got an email today saying to log in to the app and get 100 points. That equates to $100 spent in TSC points land.

I also recieved that promotion. 100 points is equivalent to $1 (though have to get to 1000 to get the coupon for $10)

$13.33 for a flock block. I know it's not a tool related post, but with the egg shortage poultry feed /supplies seem to be in short supply as well. The other local feed store is charging more for flock blocks in addition to being mouse eaten. So if you have poultry, try the flock block out. Just check for mouse damage before you buy. Speaking from experience unfortunately. Flock blocks help with excessive pecking behavior.

Definitely YMMV

And of course the normal TSC website bugs - many items showing as available available for delivery until you try to add to cart.

Some good deals though - I picked up some consumable items (grinding discs, etc)

They have Dewalt brushless 20v max reciprocating saws for $99.99. Good price. The nearest one to me that had them in stock was about 50 minutes away. I ended up doing a price match at home depot and avoided the drive.

My TSC has all their Hobart stick welding electrodes on clearance for 60-75% off. 5lb boxes for $12-15, 10lb boxes for $30-35, small packs and even stainless rods for $7.
All the wire brushes, chipping hammers, Hobart MIG tips, rosebuds, cutting torch tips, etc....all on clearance.

Two 20V 5Ah batteries and a tool for $144 YMMV.

I saw this on Slickdeals and it worked for me. It seems it may be store specific, so if you have more than one store in your area, check them all. The tool choices are: grease gun; cutoff saw; vacuum; speaker or light. I already have the vacuum and it is great as well. I went with the cut off tool.

A couple of weeks ago somewhere else on the internet someone said tractor supply was phasing out Torin products and will be replacing them with store branded jacks and jackstands. Now it seems the stores around me have some jacks and stands on clearance ~40% off. Apparently some tractor supply stores also do sales of additional 50% off clearance items which would be a really good deal. Some guy got this jack for $90 with the additional 50% off. No I'm not jealous I don't know what you are talking about.

I bought that 54 piece Gearwrench set and it’s a solid set for $35. I’m going to use it as my truck set as the soft case is nice and quiet.

Was wondering around today and found this deal on a Gearwrench 202 piece set which includes 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” sockets and ratchets. This is almost a non-skip set. I think it’s only missing the 23mm socket. Looks like everything else is there. This set is 60% off at $49. For $15 more than the 54 piece set you get a full rack of 1/2” shorty sockets, a 1/2” ratchet, a 1/4” ratchet, a bit driver, a bunch of bits, hex keys and nut drivers. Wrench selection is weak but wrenches are not why I bought this set.

Of course I could not help myself and just got home from picking up this set. It’s a great set and will be put to good use alongside the 54 piece set. I think the 202 piece set is a better value over the 54 piece set but they are both solid values.

Hex keys are not shown in this pic but this set includes both SAE & metric sets. They snap into those open spaces in the lid.

I'm a huge fan of the Crescent kits that also include various pliers and adj wrenches ( Crescent kit ). Decent, not great, quality but the price and form factor make it great for a car kit - it can be found on sale frequently for just over $100. But that Gearwrench 202 pc set for $50 would be a higher quality start and then throw in some pliers/adj wrenches and you would have a better kit for less money.
