It is an "Extension" used on Caterpillar D8H, 583H, 955C, 977D, 977H. That is the Caterpillar part number forged into the shank.

It’s a little bent (like me), but is this tool still useful or should I put it in a shadow box?

If someone can use this then I will sell it to them cheap plus shipping, please be someone who will actually use it.
