I have an older snap on 18'' breaker bar with the drive in the end of the handle so it can be used as an extension as well. the female drive end is broken and I know they dont make these anymore.
I have lots of extensions so I really dont need this as an extension but it is kind of cool.
so do I trade it in on a new one, try to fix this one, or just leave it?

I can weld but that will look like **** and will eliminate the knurl grip.
I dont think I can reknurl because the weld will be harder than the base material.
I thought silver solder but I am afraid of the rust in the crack and not being able to get it clean enough

so, what would you do?

Have them give you a new breaker bar for it. If you don't use it as an extension I wouldn't worry. I would get it replaced before the break on the ends pinches a blood blister. If Snap-On gives you any greif ask for a 15 inch wobble extension and pull handle
