My son just started trade school for HVAC. He is looking to buys some tools and he does not have much money. We both watch the used market pretty closely and we also frequent garage sales etc. Does anyone know what tool companies offer tool discounts for trade school students? He was able to get a discount from Veto for a tool bag but that is all we can find right now. Talked to the school and they were not much help. Thanks in advance for any help!

Writing this separately such as not to get things all mixed up.
If the institution he studies at offers tools as part of the package, try to wait until they give him the Tool set, so that he can avoid buying duplicates. The kit I was given included most of the tools, I just had to buy lineman's pliers, adjustable wrenches, and drill/impact driver.
