Hello All,

I am somewhat new to this forum but not the forum experience. I am a member on a similar forum for RC (remote control racing) and over the years I have done a lot of buying and selling. That forum has a nice and simple way to find out about a traders feedback. Below your avatar there is a Link called Trader Rating, it tells you a number and a percentage. Example: 80 (100%) this means you have 80 transactions and all are 100% positive. You can even click on the Trader Rating link and it will take you to your trader rating page for details on each transaction.

I am not a programmer and don't know what would be involved but it sure is a nice option to make you feel safer when buying or selling. I have taken some screen shots below. Sorry pics don't look so good, trying to figure a better way to display. Please don't see this as a negative, just sharing some positive experiences I've had from another fourum, I hope you enjoy.

Here is a screen shot of my feedback page:

No more discussion on this? I think it is important to have for buyers. I may have to make a trip to Indiana, seller was responsive til I paid, now no response. Also should be able to post in the sellers thread. IMHO

it's simply a forum feature, GJ may not be using it currently, or it may not be in the package they pay for to keep the forum up. but Vbulletin supports it, supraforums has the same I-trader stuff as its the same format as GJ, supported by vbulletin.

also, whenever buying online from someone, make sure that there is a way to recover your money.... credit payment, paypal, etc. buying online always favors the buyer and not the seller, simply because of the volume of the two, there are ways for both to screw each other over, and there are just recently laws passed to keep both sides honest instead of it being a free for all. best to be safe though and make sure you don't get shafted by CYOA
