Something I've been meaning to make for awhile, a portable trailer brake tester powered by a dewalt battery. Easy enough with the parts readily available on Amazon. Set up with 7 way and 4 way plus a couple terminals for easy power access. Just have to add a couple in line fuses and neaten up the wiring and it fit nicely in a dewalt tough system case. I may also add in a couple of electronic flashers.

Nice.

I worked in a trailer shop about 35 years ago, and built basically the same thing, but it was a deep-cycle battery on a 2-wheeled cart. I fabricated a box that held all the switches and receptacles. Yours is a LOT more compact.

Nice! Consider some small DC circuit breakers instead of fuses, and add some indicator LEDs to show they're popped. For multi-axle trailers an ammeter is also handy to detect open brake coils....

Agreed, the breakers are the way to go, I left some room for upgrades. I might add a connection to power the interior trailer lights and add a usb.
