Anyone had any direct, indirect, heresay or other experience with this trailer manufacturer. http://www.redtrailers.com/TrailersLandscapingLarge.asp

I was debating whether or not to buy one of the HF trailers, but I just don't have enough of a comfort level with them.

I will be hauling 2 Karts and misc. equipment behind my 71 Chevy truck....

Any suggestions? I also looked into making my own, but I don't think I can do it for the price of those guys....

If I understand the site, you have to bolt it together.

If that's true, I'd avoid it. Most trailers are great vibration creators and unless you are willing to nut-and-bolt your trailer like your race cars, I'd say skip it.

Get a welded trailer and be happy.

Good point. Even welded trailers (if not done well) will generate vibration. Esp. the lighter weight ones (in my experience).

I appears from the 'exploded diagram' on the web site that the main part of the trailer is a welded assembly with only ancillary stuff bolted on.

I was planning to build my own using 3500lb single torsion axle, but the prices for that kit trailer are darn good....

I just picked up my Kart over the weekend (unused/new CRG Road Rebel, 2005). I pick up my kid's (Kid Kart) next week sometime. I will be running TaG (Rotax). Here are some pics: The chassis is new, but the plastic, tires/rims, and motor are 1 season old.

Buy a welded trailer. My neighbor bought and assembled a similar trailer and the bolts kept coming loose. He tried loctite and double nutting where he could but it still flexed a bit. He ended up welding bracing here and there.

See if you can find a used trailer. I found a 7x12 utility trailer with a 3500 lb axle for less than the ones you listed are going for. Also, welded trailers come with 14 or 15" tires. Smaller tires have more of a tendancy to blow as they spin much faster than your tow vehicle. You can also try to find trailers new in Texas or Missouri. My buddy drove to Miz and picked up an 18' trailer with 3 stacked on top. 3 for sale and one to keep.

Well, I found a really nice used 1999 Carson 4x8 utility. Perfect condition.
Been garaged it's whole life, used very little, so it looks brand new.
