Several things you can do:

Lay 1/4 plywood on top of your decking. Change out when messed up

Use a deck treatment to protect it, redo every year

Skid-Not from HD. Its a paint that has sand in it. Its used for swimming pool areas and wet surfaces. I have used this in my 27ft Snowmobile trailer and it has held up well.

Spray on bed liner. Expensive, but lasts a long time

Last one would be a high grade indoor/outdoor carpet. I have a couple of friends that have put this in their sled trailer and it works well. They do have an RV heater installed in the trailer to help dry it out after every outing.

We have a disaster relief trailier that some helpful volunteers put down the thin peel-n-stick vinyl tiles. Since the trailer will sit in the sun for days on end, the glue has softened and the tiles are shifting when we walk on them. I suggest not to use them in a trailer!

I have seen VCT work well - thicker tile and better adhesive.

I put sheet vinyl down in my race car trailer its OK but oil and tire marks don't come up. I bought it from Menard's, its a black and white checkerboard pattern.

I have a 20' Wells Cargo enclosed trailer. I used Quikrete epoxy floor coating with the flakes and the clear coat. It has been down for 3 or 4 years and holding up very well.

I used herculiner roll on bed liner in my trailer. It is easy to apply, touch up, and clean (just hose it off) I did the top and bottom sides to protect and preserve the decking and frame. I highly recomend it!

When using peel n stick, put a very thin skim coat of adhesive down on sealed plywood. You'll never get them up.

What about the bottom side of the Plywood (that faces the road) ???

What is best bang for the buck product to apply there ????

Thanks,
Best oil based primer you can find followed by undercoating.
