Trailer Hitch - Can you help identify?

I just bought this next-to-new trailer hitch, and I haven't been able to find out what vehicle it fits. Now, since there's a tag on it that identifies it as having been made by Valley Industries (AKA Valley Towing Products) and has a part number 36176, you'd think this would be an easy task. At least I did. But after a couple of hours crawling the Web I've come up with exactly zero.
I'm hoping the vast compendium of knowledge contained in the collective cranium of GJ will be able to come up with an answer.
All hints, WAGs, etc. gratefully appreciated.

Well it is a light duty hitch. Class II according to the sticker. I'm thinking it's for a minivan or small SUV. What brand, I have no idea

Looks like a smaller receiver, 1-1/4" ?

Pretty narrow as well. I would guess a smaller front wheel drive car, possibly from GM or Ford.

If it fits between the frame rails, it'll work. I put a hitch, off what I was told was a Ford F series pick up, on a Dodge Dakota. I had to drill a few holes, but it fit perfectly in between the frame rails and one hole on each side lined up perfectly. I towed a stump grinder and small landscape trailer for 3 years with that setup. Just measure the width and compare to others.

How did you guys get to that listing on the Draw-Tite site? I typed the 36176 number into their site search box and it came up with "0 Results" so I figured it was a discontinued part number and I moved on.

I went to support, then found the discontinued products page and did the search there. The main page search ignores discontinued products.

Now, to the real question at hand. Why would you buy a hitch not knowing what it fits, and if you are going to use it for something completely different, why would you care what it is SUPPOSE to fit?

Where did you get the dimensional pdf from?

I drew it. Used to be a pro back in the ink-and-linen days. I still do it for my business but only on the computer!! I'd never go back to a film camera either. Did it in CorelDraw, converted to .pdf to get the file small enough to post here.

OK, I'll 'fess up. I got it for very little along with some other estate sale stuff figuring I'd either give it to a friend I think could use it or sell it for a monumental profit (well, as a percentage of cost, anyway). Won't fit said friend's car and mine already have hitches, so out it goes.

Thanks for the search hints - it hadn't occurred to me that there would be a separate section for discontinued stuff, or that it was a Draw-Tite. The tag, after all, said it was made by Valley. But then, I missed the date on the other tag.

Thanks All!
