trailer tailgate/ramp lift assist

FORUM CONTENT : you use trailers to haul tools !!

thought this might be helpful to some of you guys that buy trailers full of tools

A couple of months ago I was looking for plans to build a lift assist for a trailer ramp... finding little of any use on the net (that I wanted to pay for) , I started looking at commercial units and copying what I could...

this one is what I came up with and it sure helps an old timer with the ramp/gate..

wasn't that hard to build either...I had most of the parts on hand... only had to buy two garage door springs and the rollers.
