To build his first shop, many years ago, my brother made a deal with a local farmer to tear down what was left of an old barn. Between the lumber from that and an old single wide he already had on his property he built a pretty good sized shop. Only cash in it was for hardware and wiring. Do what you can with what you've got.

Nice workshop. There's nothing to have to feel inadequate for as that is a nice setup. Nicer than my first shop on my parent's farm by quite a stretch as I worked for over 20 years off of jack stands before I was able to get a lift in my second shop.

its an open floor plan, with no cabinets, no work bench, just a heavy table i built 40 years ago . and a huge bookcase style shelfing unit I built for the box tools and stuff up high i dont need daily. the car lift outside because, im a ******* thinking ten feet plenty of height. its open plan because stuff moves around alot. that why the roll up doors are the way they are so the corner is my space,

the blue POS bend pak

that yost vice i bought six months ago, already been painted about four colors in overspray
my welding table is a manhole i found. added some height to the legs so I can weld at three feet, instead of bending over. the white pipe is hook to a squirrel cage on the wall to **** out the fumes.. its pivots and slides together so it almost reach any spot in the shop. I got welding stuff in every corner, the blue cart is the flux core and tig machine on bottom

I LOVE that your welding table is a manhole cover....that is so cool
Very nice shop. Having a place to work that's out of the sun and rain is the goal and you've got it covered!

That is a great shop, it reminds me of the iron shop my dad worked out of when I was a kid growing up, it’s authentic like his shop was and he was, a genuine original. You are among a small group of individuals who have that much shop space at their disposal 24/7/365. Enjoy it and keep doing what your doing.
