Anyone have any experience with Trajan products, and specifically the Q700? From my reading, it is similar to the Evolution Rage 4, but seems to have some better features.

I expect the largest metal I'll need to cut is 2" angle, so a 14" saw is overkill, plus the small saw would offer some portability for cutting 2x4s when I need to be mobile.

Got to put my hands on this at the Sunbelt Ag Expo. Fit and finish are good. It is a little lighter than I expected, good for portability, bad for instilling confidence. Trigger was good. I was also able to test it on a 2x4 they had on the table, test for fit, not to cut. For that 2x4 it was able to swing down without impacting the guard, which was a concern expressed to me by the guy at the booth.

I would have bought it there, but I don't have a job come 12/1, so I'm putting the brakes on spending.

Tried one of these out at PRI. Cuts 4130 nice. No heat which is important. Ordered one Friday afternoon. Was at my shop this morning (Monday) when I got there. Buy It. Just a great little saw.

I have one and love it. Fit and finish are good. It's compact and surprisingly lightweight. I wouldn't hesitate to get one.

Looked it over at PRI, personally couldn't justify $400. They do have an economy model that they were selling for $225 at the show. Should be here by the end of the week. I was ready to buy an abrasive saw but I figure the small price difference should make a nice upgrade to a carbide saw.
