Instead of tossing out old tramp frames I have found a couple uses for some of it. The loop legs are VERY useful.

Used 2 of em to hold up my trash incinerator (horizontal burn barrel).... 5 yrs and still holding.

And this past weekend we had to get the kids a new tramp and the legs once again get re-popped. Built some panel/folding sawhorse stands. Compare them to Eastwood... http://www.eastwood.com/500lb-work-stand.html or similar.
Betting there are a ton of tramp frame legs in the trash or scrap piles for free or next to nothing that you can use them for.
Measurements and parts list available if you need it.

Just another idea to throw out there for ya GJ junkies:beer:

Nice ideas.
I've got sets from two trampolines sitting next to house, was going to send them off for metal scrap.

What an idea! GJ folks never seem to stop amazing me with unique ideas. I wish I knew of this. Had to reconstruct my trampoline after it blew a couple acres away. And I was in need of saw horses!!! :) At least the kids are having fun once more.

Good Stuff!! Watch for hockey nets and chairs with exposed chrome plated tubing too. Have made a bike rear rack and trailer out of that stuff. Tramp legs would be good for machinery stands also, like bandsaws, scroll saws and even a DP.

I love discarded junk, just recently found two foot rings from bar stools........they will be "steering wheels" for my bead rollers.

Here is an example, pretty basic, but could be easily be spruced up with a wooden top.
