Gotta love those intermittent issues. Years ago it took me almost all winter to figure out an intermittent shut off issue. Sometimes it would light, kick off, light, never kick back on, etc. Turned out it was a cracked solder joint on the board.
9 years later I come home last night and the blower fan is running. Idk why, but trane made this thing run the blower indefinitely if it has an error... Seems like a great idea...
Anyway, gas valve wasnt opening. It tried 3 times and would throw an error.
Wake up this morning and wanted to check to see if the gas valve was getting 24v before I went to work so I would have an idea of what to order... It kicks on no problem... Been working fine all day...
Sigh... I've got a gas valve on order as its giving the first ~20F temps of the season. Figures it would wait till the first serious cold front to hiccup. Hopefully its not the PC board. I could hear the relay clicking so Im hoping its ok.
