Transferring 2 Knockouts to a Panel

Two KO's I'm transferring from one panel to another.
1" and 1 1/4.

I put the other panel and traced/transferred the holes to where it needs to be on the other panel.

Tools on Hand.
Unitbit
KO Set
Carbide Hole Set.

Making the 1st hole should be okay. I know I can line it up even if I'm off a little bit.

However, bearing 2 holes on the same side of this panel, the tolerances get a little bit more tricky. Much less FUDGE factor.

Any tips you can share

Nope. Not enough room to get the hole/drill in if I was just use a hole.

I was leaning on the unibit then the KO - as it's the cleanest cut
I could just unibit the whole thing...but the panels get hot, the cut is not as clean as the KO.....

But then again if you can unibit the whole thing then I would do that. I usually run the bit in the opposite side once I'm done to take the burrs out if I can get the drill in there

I've used a Unitbit on a similar gauge splice/pull box eons ago and remember going 90% and then doing the other 10% on the side. It was still not as clean as a KO and I spent some time with a round rasp afterwards.

It's tight. Not going to do Uni on the reverse side. Can't fit drill and uni - not enough height.

Turned out much easier than I thought.
It's been awhile since I used my KO set.

The KO set I've used recently is self centering....

Mine was not. So I unitbit the stud hold, put the cutter side - lined it up with the traced circles and even with the 6" High Box, I just drew from the inside and VIOLA, much easier than I had expected.

The other 2 holes I made (which I was not lining up, I just used my TKO cutter.
