I have a 460v 3º generator that I power some equipment with. I would like a transformer to provide 240v and 120v. I found this locally for around $ 250 if I hurry. Is this the unit I want?

If the generator supplies delta voltage, yep. Edit: Actually, I believe you can supply Wye 3-phase to a Delta primary transformer (like the one you pictured). You'd just leave out the neutral from the Wye side.

For reference, I paid $80 for a 45KVA one off craigslist.

Make sure you get your 120V off the right taps, between X1-X4 and/or X2-X4). If you go between X4 and X3 you'll get a big surprise (340V). :eek:D
