I use pelican/storm and skb cases for shipping or traveling with equipment. The wheels take a beating. On the case I use the most I replace the wheels a couple times a year. I've noticed that the quality of the bearings used seems pretty low. They are 608 sized. Normally the wheels delaminate before the bearings fail so I guess it doesn't really matter. But I do like things to "feel nice". Do y'all think run of the mill skate bearings would hold up?

I’ve had several wheels delaminate lately. Can you make an inline skate wheel fit your case? Most skaters get a lot more distance in a week than my suitcase in a lifetime.

I've thought about it. Haven't actually measured the wheels but I bet they are probably 75mm

I've had a few more weeks either delaminate or otherwise get destroyed. Found out when ordering wheels for the creeper that they come in different diameters so I'm going to get some that match the ones on one of my cases and see how it holds up. I'll put a set of OEM spares in the case so if the rollerblade wheels or the 608 bearings don't hold up, I'm not stuck somewhere.
