A buddy of mine told me he saw on either Trucks or Musclecar or something, a transmission jack adapter that went into your standard jack. It drops right in the hole in your standard jack, and then you don't have to buy a dedicated ****** jack. Any idea where to find that?

Yup, those are along the lines of what I'm looking for. I had heard Sears sold them, but no luck there either.

You can also check www.eastwood.com ....

The eastwood adapter you show is the exact same one I bought from NAPA for their jack. It was frustrating as the ****** sits so high on the whole thing that I had to stop and jack the truck (Ranger) up higher to get the ****** out from under it. Of course it has a bellhousing made on it and I'm used to the separate bellhousing on older cars (like my '67 Falcon). Thank goodness I have 5 ton jack stands that go 24 inches high, and a second floor jack.
