Transmission jack find (now restored)

Seen this thing sitting in the weeds on the side of a local bar for as long as I can remember. Finally asked the owner about it the other day and $20 later (actually $40 if you include my bar tab) I was taking it home.

There's a Napa Fleet sticker on the side but believe it was made by Lincoln.

Was shocked to find it still worked really well. Pumps up and holds without any problems.

Already found a use for it. Makes a great anvil mover. With a lift height of 36" it's perfect for taking them on/off the welding table.

If I have some time next week I'll strip it down and repaint but so far pretty happy with my "new" trans jack.

Nice Find.. Im going to guess OEM'd by Walker versus Lincoln based off the Design/Age.

Finally got around to working on the trans jack. Hiball you were right, it is a Walker. Took a while to find all the right seals because of a few design changes over the years.

Tear down.

The ram was badly pitting from sitting outside for 20 years so I machined a new one.

All the parts sand blasted and being prepped for paint.

Had some left over from a different project so used Hammerite green and silver for the paint. Turned out nice. Jack works really slick. Already used it to pull a t-case out of a buddy's dodge truck.

the similar new version of this jack is $2204 currently at NAPA, and yours is now looking very close to new condition, except for perhaps the wheels

so this is a major YOU **** award!

Good old USA. My local hardware store orders it for me. Been using it for years, it's an amazing product.
