I have two NAPA trans jacks, use frequently with no issues. Used on HD truck transmissions and fire truck transfer cases.

Good luck... there is no substitute for a good trans jack, period

Bash away if you wish, but, I got a HF trans jack that has worked perfectly for the about 6 times I've used it.
Like was said, the jack makes it easier than having 2 guys under there fighting for space and the potential to drop it.

Are you using it "often" or occasionally?

Same here. I bought mine to pull a transfer case off of a full size '87 Bronco. I used it for pulling transmissions on my sons' cars over the years. I would have paid 10 times as much for an OTC brand as my HF.

I was looking at the HF ****** jack last week. I have two HF floor jacks and they work really well. nice to hear positive feed back on the trans jack. will add one to my collection.

+1 for the harbor frieght jack. My friend bought one about 6 years ago now and we have used that on countless projects. Well worth the money!

I don't have either, and I realize theres not a lot of deviation with transmission jacks, but they do look remarkably similar and the specs are basically identicle, I wouldn't be surprised if they have the same oem, just one is $150 cheaper
