Get a trailer. The pieces are over 8' long and the base lift weighs 568lbs. Unless you have a long box S10, you would be pretty close to maxed out for load.

Ramps are two pieces bolted together. I brought mine home from the trucking terminal in my half ton pickup with absolutely no problem. Just have to leave the tailgate down.

yup, brought mine home 50mi in a 6ft bed. No problems. Leave the gate down and strap it in just to be sure. THe entire thing weighs several hundred pounds (easy enough for any pick up to handle, no worries on that part). As far as moving it though, unbolted the individual pieces are movable by one man if you are decently strong (maneuvering them in and out of the bed was a bit of a task, but I managed).

Take each ramp apart and you will be fine. It weighs about 600 lbs. I have moved mine around in a 1/2 ton (short box) Chevy w/ 6 and stick with no issues.
