I throw my trash bags into an old beater Chevy PU out behind the shop, along with scrap metal fro the recycler. Just have to keep an eye out for the feral cats and possums digging into it at night...LOL

One large rubbermaid on casters, and three more scattered about the place. Its 60x60 and I don't like to walk far to get to a trash can. The one on wheels I take to where I'm working. Broom and dustpan stay on top of it.

16 gallon Shop-Vac tub (body) with the castors from a Shop-Vac that gave up the ghost years ago. Nothing like recycling the vac into some use after it was ready for the trash.

I keep a bunch of plastic shopping bags hanging on 2 nails by my bench.
As I make scraps or sweep up it goes into them.
When they start to get full they go into the can outside.

I have 2 of the big trash cans that the trash guy gives you .It holds 6 or 7 bags of trash, I use one for the house and keep one in the garage. When it gets full I wheel it to the curb.

I have a small Rubbermaid black plastic trash can like you would have under a desk. Works with kitchen size garbage bags, doesn't take up much space, and is easy to move when I need to.

Me too. Only difference is my dustpan and brush are hanging from the handle using a homemade hook.

Double bagged for those oily messes and potential leaks.

That looks great. Wish I could get my hands on one.

Cheers!

At work, we take the vans to Jiffy Lube for oil changes. Last time I was in there I asked the manager for one. Ended up talking about garages for a while. He gave me two and said if I wanted more just ask.

I use two 40 gallon trash cans at opposite corners of the carage. I also have a third one I put plastic and glass in to take to the recycling center. That one, plus the cardboard I put aside, has cut the volume of trash I put out for the trash man by half.

Regular ole 33 gallon trash barrel. I did accidentally buy a I think it's 64 gallon wheeled trash can at Home Depot last week, thing cost $68 or some ****. I wanted it mainly for yard work, fill up with leaves/twigs/etc to wheel out into the woods, without everything blowing everywhere like they would in my wheelbarrow. Not sure how exactly I will use it in the garage yet.

I paid $12.39 ( 5 years ago) at a hardware store for this short version of the old fashion cans I had when I was a kid. Probably wasted 3 or 4 lunch hours chasing around to different stores trying to find it. Luckily gas was cheaper than it is now. :) I pull the bag and put that out to the curb 'cause I remember my dad straightening out his cans after the gargage men threw them around and dented the **** out of them. :D I moved it for the pic. Usually it is either in a corner by the front door or moved t where I am working. I also have a plastic kitchen can under the work bench for smaller stuff.
