I have started to search high and low for any sort of cast metal objects manufactured by Traverse City iron works.
They mostly made fire protection related products such as fire hydrants and post indicator valves or OS&Y/Gate valves
The reason I'm looking is for my girlfriends parents. Both of them, at one time or another, lived in Traverse city/Elk Rapids, MI before they got married and its very special to them since the family has all passed away or moved
I wanted to find something from there that they could put in their new condo as a decoration and a reminder of home
If you have something from them in the yard or garage, or even know where one is sitting, please let me know. I would love to be able to purchase itt
