Hey guys, I retired this last spring from 40+ years as a machinist/tool and die maker.

I didn't realize how much I would miss the work, so I'm in the process of acquiring a lathe,vertical mill and a few other odds and ends.

I have a 30' x 50' shop building on my 25 acres in south central Texas, where we are currently building our retirement home.

We have two old vintage Jeep Universals (1947 and 1953) that I will be restoring after our home is built and I get my machines located in the shop.

I actually found this site while searching for "floor jack problems" LOL, started looking around and found lots of interesting topics, so I thought I would join up and learn some more, here!
