Tri fuel conversion kits for generator

Anyone have have one of these installed? How do you like it?

Can you run the furnace and the generator on NG during the winter?

US Carburetion and Century fuel products seem to be the only ones available?

It seems pricey is there any cheaper options?

I have an Troy Bilt 7000XP Generator that I am considering adding on to.

My main interest is hooking it up the NG Line.

I got the US Carburetion kit and switched a Generac to propane. Works great.

I have the same generator and have been thinking about adding the conversion for years now. I have 2 100lb tanks for my gas stove, and could easily hook up to them.

A generator will require a lot of natural gas, sometimes beyond what your meter is rated for in entirety.

You need to check with your gas company on capacity. My meter would have required a costly upgrade, so I just ran on propane tanks.

You are correct - check with your natural gas provider. Here in NJ, I added a tank less water heater. 199,000 Btu.

Local gas co changed my meter to a much larger unit for free.
