..Anybody here use them? If so, what do you like best/worst? I’m looking for a new garage box and thought these might work.

I have the Montezuma 41x18 mounted on the bed slider in my service truck. I go off-road a couple times a week to get to a few sites and everything stays right where I want it. It has room for all my standard sockets 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" drive up to 1-1/2" shallow and deep. And two sets of combo wrenches all the way up to 1-1/4". I really wish they made a heavier/deeper box I could put my 3/4" drive sockets and bigger combo wrenches in. My only complaint is the seal on the lid and the latch are kind of cheesy, but that isn't a big deal for me because I have a cap on the truck. My next truck I'll probably get two smaller 36x17 instead; one for metric, one for standard. I don't really see much benefit for stationary tool storage, but for anything mobile it's a game changer.
I'd post up some pictures of my setup but this forum platform appears to be from 2005 and I can't figure out how without like a photobucket account or something:lol_hitti

Nevermind, I'm an idiot. The FAQ page is really helpful but only when you actually look at it. Here's those pics:)

A heavier version of a Montezuma box.

I need to upgrade my road box and have been looking at the Baum box. My problems are I’ve never seen one in person and don’t know how long one will last compared to a snap on

If I was going to get another road box that wasn't a triangle, I'd buy a Lista box, those things are built like tanks and cheaper than what you get from any of the **** vans

IMO think they are great, The Lista technician series boxes are basically the same thing as normal Lista industrial storage cabinets used for manufacturing but they're a little prettier and you get better paint and drawer handle options.
I priced out Lista and Snap-on a while ago to replace my old Proto box when I was an on-site tech and Snap-on came in about double the price for a comparable sized Epiq series. I looked into the Snap-on Classic series too which is about the same price as Lista, but the drawer capacity on the Lista is insane; 440lbs each! and the box itself weighs almost double what the Snap-on weighed in at.

I have one on my rig, work out of it pretty much daily. I keep my sockets up to about 1 1/2 and combos, same with metrics, hammers, small pry bars, punches, chisels, screwdrivers, pliers and adjustable wrenches in there along with all the other little picks/probes/o-ring spoons and adapters I need to keep around.

Saves me having to waste a bin on drawers.
