For those who bought the 3/8" and 1/2" Triangle Tools socket sets when Sears was closing them out and want to complete the set, the 1/4" set is now on sale for $44.99. Unless I've missed them on sale, the price has been stuck at > $70 at least since last fall (that's when I started watching).

Im gonna hold on this one....I like my 3/8 and 1/2 set, but they were much larger sets than this 1/4 and at the same price.

Hopefully they drop it down a little cheaper. $35 and Im in

I love the 3/8" set I got awhile back, and kick myself for not jumping on the 1/2" drive... consequently I have been watching the price on this 1/4" set, however, @ $45 plus a few $'s tax, plus another $7 for shipping makes it more than I'm willing to spend.

I will say the Triangle 1/2" drive set I have is DA BOMB. Damn best socket set I've ever seen.

We don't get much Triangle discussion here these days; they blipped the GJ radar for a while and I was in contact with Jerry Lin from Triangle who asked me to answer some survey questions about a set that they sent me. I like my 3/8 set quite a bit. Why do you love the 1/2 set so much?

I agree. It isn't nearly the deal that the 3/8" and the 1/2" sets were; however, if you really want the complete set, this is the cheapest it's been. I agree that something around $30 would be more comparable to those previous deals. However, I really like these sockets, and want the complete set. I don't know the state of Triangle Tools, but I didn't want to miss some final clearance and then find out that they are not available.

I had picked up the extension set from Sears as well as the U-joint set. They may be imports, but the quality was very, very good.
