A neighbor of mine mentioned using this to remove some oil stains from his garage floor prior to putting down epoxy. I asked him about it & he said he'd gotten it in the past from a pool supply store. Unfortunately I didn't ask him if he'd gotten it recently.
Fuel additive, BG 44K, injector cleaner is said to be pure TECHRON. The best fuel cleaner made.
I spilled 1/4 can once while pouring some into a tank at the shop. I came back about 20 min later to wipe it up, and now that small spot (foot square) was the cleanest spot in the whole shop for years. But this would not be very cost effective.
Nope it's trichloride, or Trichlor. After a little googling I found it's pool cleaning chemical. My take is that it might make a good cleaner on tough stains but would not replace any chemical that would be used for etching.
I think your talking about trichlooethylene it used to be used in all kinds off solvents we used to use it to clean residue off tires/tubes after buffing to clean it off used to use it on rags now they found out it causes all kinds of medical problems.Good to know now!!!
