Guess it is time to start my own thread on my build. This is my attached 2 car 20x24 garage that we built a little over a year ago.

I have been slowly trying to get my garage and my car into shape but it has been slow going. Here are some pics of my progress.

Lighting: CL find $80 for 3-8 footers and 12-4 footers bulbs included. Much better than the single bulb that was included when we built the house.

Black Friday find at a local pawn shop for $275 with several drawers full of tools:

Another CL find:

then a sand blast cabinet with media for $75 off CL

I have got to rearrange where these are though.

Then I have been working on some soffit shelves which will be dry-walled and sliding doors on the front.

Eventually I plan to install cabinet under the soffit shelves and build a better work bench.
I am uncertain on the floor at the moment. I am considering epoxy but may go with VCT.
You may ask where the name came from. Trigger is my 70 Monte Carlo that I am working on. It has been mine since 1987 and has been in the family since 1981.

It has been a while and I have made some progress in the garage. I now have the soffit shelves up and functional although I still need to get the sliding doors on them as well as some drywall.

I have also built a new work bench and got rid of the old PC Desk and cheap dinner table I was using as work benches. I do need to make doors for below the bench and get a 3/4" top for the bench, but it is also usable in its current state. Below the bech I took apart a cheap shelving unit I had and cut it down to fit under the bech and screwed it to the wall to make more use of the space.

I swapped the compresser and blast cabinet locations where they will be more space efficent due to the location of the power panel and door opening on the blast cabinet. The conduit where I had the compresser power feed to I repurposed for a 120 plug and a light switch for future ceiling fans. I also turned the standup freezer around to gain some much needed wall space.

Please excuse the mess as you can see I have multiple projects going on intere at same time...

Looks like You are making progress! What are the plans for the MC?

Thanks. Plans for the MC are to finish up the rust repairs, and body work hopefully this spring/summer get it back in paint. Plan is to paint it gloss black and maybe black out the bumpers too. It's going to be a cruiser. I have retro-fit a Tuned Port Injection system into it from an 89 IROC-Z and updated it to the 90-92 computer to do away with the Mass Air-Flow sensor. Put in a 200-4R ****** from a 85 MC SS and have a 3.73 posi 12 bolt in it. Here is a link for pics to some of the work I've done on it over the last couple years.

Here is a fairly recent pic of it:

Nice CL finds!

Thanks. I got real lucky on that blast cabinet. The compresser was a good price too

Moved the Monte over some today so I could get the wife's truck in the garage to replace the fron hub actuator so I was able to get a couple better pics of the workbench and shelving.

Nice Monte. I have a '70 Chevelle I'm doing work on although not as much as yourself. I like the workbench/shelf combo and I think the cabinets will look even better and tie it together. Good CL finds as well.
