What is a CAT 1 ? Is that the manufacture name?
California Air tools. I would honestly say to consider cordless. The Ryobi is well priced and works very well

Following your criteria of cheap and thru Amazon you really couldn't beat getting the CAT 1 good reputation and low decibel especially nice for indoor trim work

What is nice beside the low noise with these is its also a low amp draw so it easily works without overloading a simple house circuit with a high peak start draw.

When I was shopping for a "pancake" style compressor for nailers and such a couple of years ago, I ended up with a Rolair pancake compressor (used off of craigslist). I paid $75 for mine.
At least in the Portland area, there always seems to be at least ONE small Rolair unit for sale on Craigslist/Offer-up/LetGo.
There are three for sale right now (From $50-$150) in my area.
Take a look at the typical classified ads in your area and see if any are available. These compressor are American made, built like tanks, and are an oiled design so they run quiet and the compressors are very durable. The used ones might not be the prettiest, but believe me, they are tough and will last many years. Plus parts for them are readily available as they are still made by RolAir today.

Do you already have the gun/guns? If not you could consider a cordless Ryobi trim nailer and ditch a compressor. Just an option.

I've got this compressor as my indoor/trim/portable .I love it. When I bought it I bought a kit that included a micro-pinner since I did not have one.

These days the silent compressors are everywhere, go that route.
I have a older Porter Cable 2gal, semi reliable, but way to LOUD.

Take a look at the CAT 5510A (note the A, not an SE at the end). It's the aluminum tank 5.5 gallon CAT. I've got one and I have to say it's MUCH lighter than my 4 gallon twin stack Emglo. I think the claimed weights are like 35lb vs 55. It's not a one hand carry due to the shape but it's rather easy to carry vs the heavy, one hand only Emglo.
