I have had my garage drywalled. The lower 15" of the wall is the stem wall make of cinder blocks. The drywall ends at the stem wall leaving a 1/2" - 9/16" step back to the cinder blocks.

How does one go about trimming this? Sounds like a dumb question but I have never encountered this before was thinking of getting some base moulding and attaching a spacer along the bottom to close the gap. Thus -- L

Any ideas are welcome. Pics. to show what I mean.

various ways you could do that.
easy way, just nail a thin trim to the side of the 2X,paint it same colour
a little more advanced, cut a pc of wood that slides behind the 2X , nail it in place, caulk the seam, paint .
