I'm working on the interior of a 2012 GM car.

I'm thinking I need a tool like this one to help with the door sills and B-pillar trim.

Are there any must-have's in this category of tool?

I've already got a deep selection of the Bojo plastic trim tools and skimmed several trim tool threads here, which tend to concentrate on the plastic tools.

that should be fine, I have modified mine by squaring the inside "U" for better seating against metal clips

I’ve got a couple similar to that from MAC. My favorite one is the long one. It’s about 1.5ft long. I seem to use that one for everything. I hardly ever use the shorter one anymore.

The number on the long one from MAC is UT2BB

I recently bought a set of skin wedges, how did I not know of such a tool? Game changer!

As an ex-bodyman I have just about every trim removal type tool out there yet I had my one go-to tool I generally used.

I own this Vessel, excellent all around trim tool. I used it a lot when replacing the rear bumper on my Camry. It goes for $15 via Amazon, highly recommended.

I have that one too, and have used it a lot on my Gen 1 and Gen 2 Tacomas and on one Lexus. That included changing the complete interior between a pair of Gen 1 Tacomas a couple of years ago.

It's probably not the only one to have (I like a 4140 skin wedge and some plastic pry tools as well), but the Vessel is a very good one.
