I am not experienced with stone work, but how can I remove the left end on this wall while savaging some of the bricks and flagstones so I can refinish the shortened area edges?

The wall is a poured concrete about 6-7" thick not counting the flagstone.

I was thinking using SDS chisel to free some of the bricks and flagstones for savaging, then drill a series of perforation through the wall. sledge hammer them out. Patch and repair as needed?

I think there is a slab under the wall area but as long as I get a small portion flat enough to hold a floor joist for a shed, I should be good to go.

Most construction equipment rental places have masonry chainsaws available for around $100/day. Typical bar length is 14". You can saw off the entire section and then maneuver it around to make cuts behind the brick and flagstone which will free them up much more successfully than doing it with a chisel. 2-3 hour job max and not hard work. The chain saws are normally set up so you attach a garden hose to make a wet cut without the clouds of dust from dry cutting.

Get the chainsaw or a gas quicky saw. Dont use an electric one. Ive been in the trade for 25 years and those things still scare me to use.
