Picked these up today for a quarter at a sale. Triple A 43. Remind me of battery pliers. To me, they look like 1950's maybe. Searched for a while but couldn't find any info on them.

Very interesting battery pliers, although I have many examples none are marked with that logo. Makes me wonder if they were not made for the AAA members ? Or tow truck drivers helping stranded motorists carried a special set of those battery pliers?

The mystery continues...

I've got a Blue Bird variety, and I used to have a Channellock marked one.

As I keep up on my car battery maintenance I've not had to use a plier like this to break a corroded nut free in years.
