Sure - don't buy them unless you work on german cars. At least for now anyway. My $400 investment just stares at me saying "you used to work on German cars", but they haven't been off their rail in over a year.

Hazet makes the best, and the cheap $10 sets of 4 various places sell can work if you are a bit careful. My Porsche mechanic doesn't like Snapon, he breaks too many, hence the Hazet preference.

Trisquare "real" name is XZN, and the despite owning all of the above brands, the ones I use the most are the smaller sizes from my HF 100 pc security bit set. Hazet when it comes to CV joints etc.

I have always called them triple square.

I bought the set in the first picture off ebay for about $20-$25. When I was looking I also saw a Mac set that looked identical. The second picture is a Mac set from ebay.

Made in Taiwan but appears to be decent quality.

The KD triple square bits that I have used are decent and not too expensive. You should be able to pick them up at your local NAPA store.

Any recommendations ?

Yeah. Clean out the socket of the bolt head (ESPECIALY CV joint bolts) with carb cleaner and q-tips prior to inserting the bit.

Other than that, my Lisle tools set was inexpensive and has lasted a long time.
