Like everyone else on here, I've fallen victim to the GJ drug. 6 weeks ago I decided that I would finish spackling the drywall in the garage. I put the drywall up and had half of it spackled when I built the house 6 years ago. Then I saw this site and became flooded with ideas and started the Triton Garage, named after my baby.... 2007 Triton Bass Boat.

In the past weeks, I've painted, added trim moldings, cabinets and counters. My next plan is to do something with the under the stair storage area I have for the stairs leading into the house. I have kerosene heaters and the snow thrower in there right now. I like having access to it as I can store larger items that are not needed on a regular basis. Any thoughts?

Here are some pics of the work in progress........

Nice garage! Very clean, organized and well lit. Did you install the door from the house after you moved in?

As for storage under the stairs, I would just fabricate doors for the space. Personally I would go with bifold doors that were louvered for ventilation since many of the items you listed will have fuel associated with them. Beyond that, your ceiling height is waaaay up there, so you could add cabinets as high as you need them.

The garage is 36 x 26 with 14' Ceiling.

Running 6 8' fluoro lights w/ 75watt bulbs.

When I first put the paint on, I was nervous that it was going to be too dark. Glad I stuck with it.

I love coming back from an all nighter out cat fishing and being the first boat on a glass like surface on the river. Great feeling. Nice boat and space.

Here are some more pics of the garage..... I plan on putting a TV on top of the utility cabinet. Any recommendations on size? I'm leaning towards a 40" screen.
