Triumph C7000 arms too long?

Hi folks - I've been loving my Triumph C7000 lift - with one small issue - the front and rear arms are the same length and on shorter wheel base cars I can't grab both pinch welds. I've been working around this with my wifes Tucson as there is a frame member further in. Today i tried to lift a BMW 2 series and there isn't much to grab other than the two lift points on the side

How have folks been dealing with this? thanks!

interstingly I found this video and the arms appear to be shorter - I'm about 32" fully in from the center of the silver pivot to the center of the lift pad..
