Does anyone have any experience with four post Triumph lifts? It appears they’re having a great sale right now, almost too good to be true, and so I wanted to see what information might be out there.

Triumph, Titan, Atlas … there are lots of these Chinese constructed lifts, but for what I need, any of them would be fine. Does anyone have any recent experience with any of these brands?

I too am interested in these Chinese lifts? Can you get a 14,000 lb one and use it as a 10,000 lb one for strength reasons. They build them light, so can't we just upgrade until they are strong enough to do the job? It seems that the arms bend and the carriages are short with weak welds on ones that are really cheap? Anyone with a non ALI lift have recommendations in this direction?

I had a Titan (extra tall/long) and it was really solid. I never had a worry, but sold it with the house a few years ago. Now it’s time for another, and I was planning to go right back to Titan, but this sale price with Triumph has me thinking.

in the midst of installing an Peak/AMGO 409-HP.

pretty solid right now, the platform with the piston was ridiculously heavy.

will know more about it when i hook up power and run hydraulics.

I have one that looks identical to the Triumph. It’s been good for me to store a car on. I replaced the heavy steel ramps with RaceRamps.

I bought it new off a seller on EBay. They shipped it to a nearby trucking company and I picked it up on my flatbed trailer. Two friends and I put it together in 4 hours.

Greg’s - I know you’re at least partially right. Triumph is owned by National Auto Tools, so that website is not them. But it may be an authorized dealer, who has taken advantage of an online dba.

I’m planning to call National Auto Tools and get some info. I’ll share if I learn anything.
