I am trying to piece together a tool kit for a 1962 Triumph TR3B. These tools, apparently, are scarcer than hens teeth, although sometimes they can be bought with an old rust bucket for $200. I am not necessarily looking to rebuild a "correct" set, but I'd like to at least have a reasonable tool kit to go with the 1962 car. Individual pieces turn up at swap meets more often then eBay, and when on eBay obviously people want ridiculous prices. . .so if any of you come across these (probably not on your list of "must haves") I sure would appreciate the chance to purchase them. Thanks!
"T.Williams" open end wrenches: these will have the T.Williams logo and "Made in England" stamp. The T. Williams logo is a "T" over a "W" inside a circle. Early wrenches were black oxide, later were clear cadmium finished. I am particularly interested in the ones stamped "Superslim" on one side. Looking for:
3/8 s 7/16AF
1/2 x 9/16 AF
5/8 x 3/4 AF
Adjustable wrench (looks like a small pipe wrench) Stmaped T/ Williams.
Of course, any other TR3 tool kit pieces are welcome! I realize I'm looking for a needle in a haystack but . . .
Thanks again!
