so you got your exhaust kit and this was randomly added to the order? No clue what it is. Put some fins on it and make it look like some kind of rocket or bomb.

I was gonna say *** toy. Maybe they got a sister company called Rock Hardo.

But then again that thing looks huge.... unless it's for a big woman.

Google fu came up with ONNIT steel club. I guess it’s some kind of exercise weight.

Indeed. Onnit markets lots of weights. A parts manager friend once received two 25 pound dumbbells in a shipment. Nobody could figure out why a headlight was so heavy.

Wanna share how you found that out, I googled everywhere.

I don't want to meet the guy who can swing this. No idea why rockauto had or sent it, had RA tape all over it.

Click on the photo. There is another of the bottom with "Onnit 35".

I had a friend in high school that worked out with a homemade version of one of those. He used it for baseball training (think swinging a bat). I've seen golfers train with something similar.

Have you tried contacting RockAuto to ask why you received that? I know I for one am extremely curious.

I suspect Rock Auto is just shipping out of a generic fulfillment center warehouse, where they share space with other businesses, and the Onnit came from a different supplier who's part number, or bin location happened to be close to something of yours. Or the picking worker was bored.

Could be fulfillment error, but more likely someone ordered something heavy and expensive from rockauto and did a return with that in the box to match the weight and make some easy money. Thieves are the worst.

Not from rock auto, but I bought a heavy duty receiver hitch on Amazon one time. I had a one inch thick by 11”x48ish” piece of metal show up on my door step along with the hitch. It had a John Deere part number sticker on it and a sticker with my tracking number on it. I reached out to Amazon, and they didn’t want it because they said that it wasn’t theirs. Ups told me I could bring it back to their drop off, but if it had my tracking number on it, it was mine. I called John Deere, and they had no idea how to track it. Weighed about 130 lbs so it wasn’t going anywhere unless someone wanted to come get it. I still haven’t figured out what I am going to do with my piece of scrap metal.

One inch thick? Holy hell! I bet there is someone, somewhere near where you live that could use that. Try putting it on the Nextdoor website and someone local would buy it I bet.

Or, if you have a local community college near you, they use 1 inch thick pieces of metal, cut into one inch wide sections so that the pieces are 1 inch square, as welding stock for their welding classes.

A friend of mine took a welding class at our community college, and the final exam was to cut a "V" notch into a 1 inch square piece of solid metal, and weld it back up, and grind it smooth so that it looked like it never had the "V" notch in it.

Then they x-rayed it to see if it had porosity in it. In order to pass the final exam, there had to be less than 5 percent porosity in the welded area.

He passed, and brought his final exam piece home and showed it to me. It was about a foot long and 1 inch square, so I bet your 11 inch wide x 48ish long piece would work for the college.

Maybe I'll take it to local beer league games. Lean it on a fence and wait for some slob to TRY to pick it up, recording the whole works...

I'm 6'3" 295 ex football/weight lifter. If I pick this up by the handle, I can let it hang and flex wrists and arc it about 20 degrees.

I can not see someone "swinging" this.

I have the full console version of that. You can get additional games on Etsy as the ones that come with it are lacking many of the classics.

My understanding is Rock doesn’t own any warehouses or do any shipping. All they do is send your order to the warehouse and take their cut. This is why the shipping fees are charged based on the number of warehouses your order ships from.
