Trojan tools?

Have you guys ever heard of Trojan tools?

I tried googling them, and results said it was from Australia? correct me if im wrong. A friend is selling his 165 tool set for only 110$ BRANDNEW

should i get it? it looks like this

Yes. They are the ultra cheap-o tools that Bunnings sells alongside their famous Ozito range.. Expect all to be made in China. Or at best Taiwan (but I doubt it!) for some lines.

Long stopped making tools in Australia. Much like Kincrome. Cheap garbage at best.

Run for your life! It sounds like full retail price and not much of a friend. If you gave me the set for free AND paid me the $110 I would still not use them on my cars.

That looks like its a really nice set and would be a great gift.
But I suspect that's just so they can trick you into letting them into your toolbox

As has already been pointed out, Trojan is Bunnings "house" brand. Its made in China. Trojan is owned by the same parent company that owns Bunnings. If my memory serves me correctly they were selling those sets for around $60-70. You may be able to find them on the Bunnings website www.bunnings.com.au.
I personally try and avoid buying Trojan or any of the other 'cheap' (read maximised profit) tools that they sell.
Essentially, you get what you pay for.
