I'm trying to find a 60° countersink bit with a 1/8" pilot bit and depth stop.

Everything I've found seems to be missing one of those 3 things. Carbide tipped would be an added bonus (I'm drilling ipe).

Something like this one would be perfect, but they're all 82°:

The bare one will accept countersinks, but only with a 5/16" shank, which I can't find in a 60°:

How about drilling hole in appropriated diameter the using a single flute counter sink for the countersink.

MA Ford makes all kind sofmcountersinks in hss, cobalt. Carbide is available. Check enco.

Most countersunk screws are 82 degrees,
with the aircraft type being 100 degrees. What type of hardware are you using that needs 60 degrees?

Will one of these work? A number four has a one-eighth pilot.

It's a #8 trim head wood screw. I wouldn't normally use a trim head screw for decking, but ipe is so strong that it doesn't need as much of a head.

Most of the decking will be held using clips, but the ends of the deck boards and fascia will be face screwed (~1,190 screws!). That's why I'd like to use an all-in-one pilot bit with countersink.

I ended up ordering this, but HSS bits won't last long in ipe:

If it's not robust enough, I'll have to go with a separate pilot hole and countersink.

Did I mention I never wanted a pool? The things we do for our family.

There's about a 24' x 8' pile of decking.
