Trouble with 3/8" Milwaukee fuel impact

Well I bought the Milwaukee 3/8 fuel impact about a month ago. Used it about a total of two battery charges. Love it. The only thing I have a problem with is that every once in a while when I squeeze the trigger nothing happens. I press the direction button and back and it works fine. I know that the direction button is fully depressed in the way I'm using it. After the first couple times I make a mental note to make sure its fully depressed. I emailed Milwaukee today waiting for a reply. Any others that have experienced this? Other than this I really love the tool

You may want to exchange it if you are within the store exchange period. My drill never does that. If I squeeze lightly the light comes on (I use this quite a bit if the area im working in is a bit dark), and a stolid squeeze always makes it turn, unless the directional switch is in the middle.

Take care of it quickly and have it exchanged. Milwaukee has the best warranty and will take care of it. Doesn't matter who the manufacturer is, they will all have an occasional tools that has a problem. I have 2 of the same tool and they have both been flawless to this point, but if a problem arises I'll use the warranty.

Well I got a response from Milwaukee today. They sent me a link for a fed ex shipping label. I will be sending it back for "warranty evaluation". Other than this little hickup its awesome. Took it to the pull a part yesterday and I was only there for an hour.

wanted to give an update on my milwaukee 3/8 impact. A week ago tomorrow I sent it back to the service center for inspection. I got it today in the mail with a letter saying they replaced the trigger. I think 6 days is pretty good turn around. So now we will see if the problem is fixed.

That is quick and great to know as I am heavily invested in Milwaukee cordless tools.
